Good times are always associated with barbecue... It's the only product that I know that gives you that feeling. Takes you into a natural high. When something great happens, somebody'll say, 'Let's barbecue.' Because it brings happiness.

Weighted Overall
- Brisket: Wow!! Smooth, tender and tasty. Needs more smoke flavor, but overall pretty darn good and it’s hitting the spot.
- Spare Rib: Excellent texture, falls off the bone and melts in your mouth with a crunchy exterior. Everything is sweet and sticky just the way I like my women!!
- Potato Salad: Nothing wrong with this. Mustard based and tasty.
- Sauce: Nice vinegar base with a good twang
- Atmosphere: The only thing that keeps this from rating higher is the feel that this is a beer joint that serves BBQ instead of a BBQ joint that serves beer
- Atmosphere: This is a tavern not a joint. Country music, pool table, beer and we’re bout to find out about the Q. Ben here since 1939, but once inside you wouldn’t even know they serve BBQ. Beer is very cold and very tasty and they have Lone Star!! BBQ sauce is served in oil and vinegar decanters – not sure what to think about that!! JR Ewing, Earl Campbell and Miss Texas 2000 have all been here.
