Weighted Overall
- Sauce: Chunky. Sweet & tangy, with some meat drippings added.
- Sausage: Crumbly texture. VERY good, with a nice spice on the finish. Casing was a bit tough.
- Pork Loin: Nice smoke ring. Great texture. Only issue is that its served cool, rather than hot.
- Brisket: Thin smoke ring. Firm & chewy. Has a nice meat/smoke balance. Smoke is mild.
- Spare Rib: Greasy, but good!
- Potato Salad: German-style is outstanding. 1st German PS on the tour? Designed to be served either hot or cold.
- Atmosphere: This is a fairly big place for a BBQ joint. Its a former convenience store that Doug has converted into a BBQ and Bar. He actually has two locations, and this one has only been here since about 2001. He's been doing BBQ for about 30 years.
