Weighted Overall

  • Atmosphere: 'Walk-Thru' window; cash or check only; sit down lunch spot; table service. This is a sandwich shop with a little 'Q on the menu.
  • Atmosphere: To be fair, we really didn't eat the meats in the manner that they were intended. Next time we'll know to order the 'Brown Pig Sandwich' if we want their bbq.
  • Brisket: Thinly sliced; A bit dry... this meat NEEDS sauce -- doesn't/can't stand alone.
  • Pork: Thinly sliced; A bit dry... this meat NEEDS sauce -- doesn't/can't stand alone.
  • Sauce: Tomato based sweet & sour sauce, with Tabasco.
  • Quotable: 'Today might not be a good day' -- Our Waitress
  • Quotable: 'I don't eat the pork, I just cook it.' -- The Cook
  • Sides: Beans - pinto 'country-style' with bits of tomato; Slaw - Sweet! And the egde has come off the crunch; PS - Mustardy.
