Weighted Overall
- Sides: PS is good - I like this mixture! Beans are good... tomato-based & beefy with chili pepper kick. Nice.
- Atmosphere: Just off seawall. Corner location with 30+yr history. Good write-ups on the walls. Good tunes playin on the radio. Caught them towards the end of their day.
- Brisket: They sauced it! A bit chewy. Meat has a sweet flavor, but its been trimmed of all fat and bark. Hard to evaluate through sauce.
- Spare Rib: Fat end of the rib is very chewy. Fairly flavorful, but leaves me feeling empty; wanting more from my rib.
- Sauce: Nice sauce with good cayenne kick... but it covered the beef a bit too much.
- Sausage: They sauced it! Surprisingly good. Pork flavor and smoke come right through the sauce!
- Dessert: The Pina Colada cake is reason enough to stop here! Yum. And the peach cobbler with hand-cranked ice cream aren't bad either.
