There's not much point in complaining about high-tech barbecue. It serves a purpose, and it's here to stay. And no doubt the quality of it will keep on improving. But as the old barbecue joints slowly disappear, each one that remains becomes a bigger treasure.
bkarau's Review of O O Smoke House
Weighted Overall
This is a nice looking roadside shack, with outside counter service only. Brisket is naked, fire on the offset pit is oak, flies are plentiful. The meat is creosoted and inedible. The cobbler was pretty good, but it ain't billed as the OO CobblerHouse.
