I won't even sell somebody a barbecue unless they get cole slaw. If they want a barbecue and they don't want cole slaw, there's something wrong with that person. It all goes together. You've got to have cole slaw and hush puppies with barbecue.

- Brisket - Little mushy, still moist & tender though
- Ribs - Sweet rub, mushy (may be sitting in steam pan)
- Hot Links - Really spicy hot link
- Sausage - great flavored Eckridge style sausage
- Pork Shoulder - moist, nice flavor
Other Fare:
- BBQ Sauce - Great Smoky, spicy, vinegar red sauce
- Mac Salad - Not good
- Potato Salad - Red pimento, pickley taste
- Pea Salad - Ass
- Slaw - Standard, but mushy
- Beans - nicely seasoned
Atmosphere:
- Big TX Star Rusted Sign outside. RR tracks nearby. Cool Western theme inside - real cowboy feel. Oversided rifle hanging over the menu sign.
