XO has participated in the Barbecue Tour since 2001. He has served in a number of roles including Mass Transport Director (responsible for getting the van involved), and Chief Organizer in 2004. The tour got some wheels turning, and several years of R&D later, has turned those into a venture called "Karubecue Barbecue Technology" (www.karubecue.com).
He has visited 114 barbecue joints over 7 tours, and has earned 5 Ironman awards.
